I, the undersigned, understand that my attendance of any dog training session or certification is not without risk to myself, my dog, any attending guests, family members and my personal property, because some of the dogs to which I may be exposed, to include my own dog, may be difficult to control at times, and may be the cause of injury even when handled with the greatest amount of care.
In consideration of and as inducement of the acceptance of my application for training, I hereby waive and release K-9 Kampus, its employee’s, officers, members, agents and any entity working in accordance with K-9 Kampus K-9 Certifications and/or Training from any and all liability of any nature, for injury or damage which I or my dog may suffer, including specifically, but without limitation, any injury or damage resulting from the action of any dog, and I expressly assume the risk of such damage or injury while attending any training session, certification, or any other function of
K-9 Kampus, or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.
I also agree to indemnify and to hold harmless K-9 Kampus, its employee’s, officers, members, agents and entity’s working in accordance with K-9 Kampus, from any and all claims, or claims by any member of my family or any other person accompanying me to any training session or function of K-9 Kampus, or while on the grounds or the surrounding area thereto as a result of any action by any dog, including my own. I shall personally assume all responsibilities and liabilities for any loss or injury which may be alleged to have been caused directly or indirectly to any person or thing by the act of my dog participation in a K-9 Kampus function, or while on the training grounds or the surrounding area thereto.
I also agree to indemnify and to hold harmless K-9 Kampus, its employee’s, officers, members, agents and entity’s acting in accordance with K-9 Kampus from any and all claims, or claims by any member of my family or any other person attending in direct regard to the actions of my dog at any time while attending any sessions promoted, sponsored, or conducted by K-9 Kampus.
I also agree and understand that at no time will any abuse or misuse of any dog or equipment, whether mine or the property of any other person, or the abuse (either verbal or physical) of any other attendee, staff, instructor, or any other guest be tolerated. Such activity on my part will be grounds for immediate dismissal with forfeiture of any funds I may have paid in regards to any instruction or other services provided by K-9 Kampus.
