| From the beginning of time, there has been a rare and valued ancestry of people who are gifted with the ability to transcend the communication barrier with animals. This "gift"
revolves around the ability to understand the communication and responsibilities within the hierarchy structure, then utilizing this knowledge to achieve an understanding of how the world appears to the animal , and thus why and how the animal responds to the given influences or situations around him.
At K-9 Kampus, we provide you and your animal companion with Custom Tailored
Training Programs which enhance your relationship by breaking this communication
barrier, resulting in you becoming "One With" your dog. We train with honesty and
empathy, intensity and gentleness, respect and obedience.
K-9 Kampus is located in Malvern , Arkansas and provides instruction in Relationship
Training, Obedience, Narcotics, Arson, Explosives, Tracking, Search and
Rescue/Recovery, Patrol, and Personal Protection, and specific programs geared
towards problem solving and working with children.
Our experience in each of these fields is derived from a collective history of both
working in these fields, as well as extensive studying of the canine's habits,
communication, and societal structure within the pack environment.
Through our programs, we remove the force and compulsion normally associated
with canine conditioning. We neither recommend nor condone the use of choke-chains,
pinch collars, or electricity. By removing these tools of force and compulsion, a new
window of learning is created for both dog and handler. A window opened for clear,
concise communication between the two.
Our training programs produce an unbreakable bond by using positive reinforcement
along with modified Alpha dog positioning and negative correction only when necessary
to create a clear picture for the dog of acceptable, desired behaviors, as well as defining
those behaviors considered undesirable. This exhibition of clear communication is the
cornerstone for a lasting, trustworthy mutual bond between you and your dog.
